Overview

SideCore is a local-first macOS note app. Version 1.0 stores notes and preferences on your device so the app can reopen where you left off.

What SideCore stores

SideCore stores note content, note metadata such as pin status and timestamps, the currently selected note, and app preferences such as shortcuts, font choice, and display options.

Where data is stored

Your data is stored locally on your Mac in the app's local storage area. SideCore 1.0 does not require an account and does not sync notes to a remote server.

Collection and sharing

SideCore 1.0 does not collect personal data for analytics, advertising, or tracking, and does not sell or share your note content with third parties.

Network use

SideCore 1.0 is designed to work without signing in or sending note content to an online service as part of its core note-taking experience.
